Dungeon Defenders II brings a fusion of tower defense and RPG action to PC and consoles next month
Following a lengthy stint on Early Access on Steam and PlayStation 4, Dungeon Defenders II will be making its way to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 20, the game’s developer Trendy Entertainment announced today.
To mark the occasion, Trendy has released a new trailer for the game. The footage showcases the game’s vibrant fantasy world, epic weapons, leveling system, and more. Check it out below:
“We’re very excited to finally be able to bring the Dungeon Defenders franchise back to the Xbox platform,” said Marco Busse, Chief Executive Officer at Trendy Entertainment. “Dungeon Defenders II expands on the combination of shared action and tactics that made the original game so enjoyable, and that experience has only continued to evolve as we’ve grown it alongside our incredible community through early access.”
Melding elements lifted from both the tower defense and RPG genres, Dungeon Defenders II has players collecting rare loot, acquiring pets, and offers a variety of heroes you can control and level up as you beef up your defenses and beat back waves of enemies in both single-player and up to four-player online cooperative battles.
